not holding my breath

ordered online from Penny's and Amazon last week, which means Fed Ex (or UPS) will have to find my house........

should be interesting given the Fed Ex driver's proclamations from July (Fed Ex Delivers...Sometimes)

update....8/4/07, still no packages - UPS has placed an exception on the delivery.

*sigh*

No where to shop in person and no one can deliver when I shop online.

Am 2 steps from pulling out the FoxFire books and going at this homesteader-style.....

This just in...have received packages and made friends with the UPS guy, the Fed Ex guy , AND the Mail Lady. DHL still can't find us, but now they just leave our packages at the post office and the Mail Lady brings them. Oh the benefits of leaving your Mail Lady a Festivus Gift!

It must be Karma from another life...

because in this life, I am allergic to chocolate.

I know - please, I need all the sympathy you have to give. Can you imagine? A woman who would sustain herself on a diet of chocolate, fruit, cheese, and bread if she could. And, throw coffee and wine into that mix. Gotta start and end the day in style!

I figure I'm still entitled to my share of chocolates in this earthly realm. After all, the average person consumes close to 10 lbs of chocolate a year (is that all???). My philosophy is that if I *personally* am unable to consume my allotment of 10lbs of chocolate, then it is my right - nay, my obligation - to pass along *my* chocolate joy to my friends.

And I only have 10lbs to work with!
