Green Acres Plumbing

or, just slap some duct tape and tar on 'er, she'll hold

It took the plumber just 15 minutes with his mag light to assess the damage:

Your pipes are held together by duct tape and some kinda tar. And your duct work runs right underneath this break in the pipe here - this one wrapped in duct tape - every time stuff runs through her, she drips right on down into these big holes

I'll just bet it does really stink in there!

Lessons learned:

When you buy a house, do not let the sellers real estate agent represent you also. Get a buyer's agent. The seller's agent tends to overlook small details. Like tar and duct-taped pipes.

Be aware that if the house is in hillbillburbia, there's a good chance you've got Green Acres plumbing. Have it checked *ahem* before you move in!

The $$$$ for repairs is worth it to be living with *shudders, don't want to think about it* whatever is down there, in those ducts.

God bless the professional plumbers of the world. Especially ours.
