What I Remember about Melissa:
1. Melissa's complete and unabiding love for Brian.
2. Melissa's enthusiasm, joy, and verve. And huge smile!
3. Melissa's gift of friendship.
4. Working, living, and playing at the Carolina Bistro. And raiding the place (with the owner's permission) when it closed bc neither of us had been paid in months! I think we both set up our first "real" home kitchens with Billy Bistro supplies!
5. Polo parties and sunday afternoon bbq's at Melissa and Brian's cottage. Red wine. Late nite movies. Melissa's crab-stuffed portobello mushroom caps. Lots of laughter, music, and friends.
6. Melissa always had a camera in hand!
7. Dec 31 1995 - Savannah GA. A pivotal night that kicked off a pivotal year, for us all.
Melissa passed away Sunday, July 16 at 2:50pm after an 8 month battle with cancer. She was 34. Please remember Melissa's husband Brian and their 4 children in your prayers.
